The Roanoke Valley Preservation Foundation’s Tours and Interpretive Markers Committee partners with businesses, nonprofits, local governments, neighborhood groups, and others to research the history toward the development of the text and graphics used in Historic Site Interpretive Markers. The markers are installed at a variety historic sites and places throughout the Roanoke Valley.  These markers help tell the story of these historic sites and locations helping to keep their history alive.
