The Roanoke Valley Preservation Foundation’s Tours and Interpretive Panels Committee completed the text and graphics for an interpretive marker about the history of the Persinger Cemetery #2 located in Roanoke, VA. The marker is sponsored by Roanoke Committee of the Colonial Dames of America and the Roanoke Valley Preservation Foundation. The Gropen, Inc. sign company of Charlottesville has finished production of the 24″ x 36 ” sign and will install it at the cemetery site during the summer or fall of 2021.
The unveiling will be held at the Persinger Cemetery #2 location at the intersection of Memorial Avenue and Edgewood Street SW in Roanoke, VA.
