The Roanoke Valley Preservation Foundation’s Tours and Interpretive Panels Committee completed the text and graphics for an interpretive marker about the history of the Viscose Plant located in Roanoke, VA . The marker is sponsored by the Roanoke Valley Preservation Foundation and City of Roanoke Parks & Recreation. The Gropen, Inc. sign company of Charlottesville has finished production of the 24″ x 36 ” sign and installed it on the Roanoke River Greenway Trail across from the Viscose plant in SE Roanoke.
