The Roanoke Valley Preservation Foundation Tours and Interpretive Panels Committee completed the graphics for an interpretive sign about the history of Crystal Spring and the historic pump house. The sign was sponsored by the Roanoke Chapter of the Colonial Dames. The Gropen Inc. sign company located in Charlottesville, VA completed and installed the 24 x 36 inch sign near the historic pump house on the Western Virginia Water Authority property located at the intersection of Jefferson Street SW and Yellow Mountain Road SW/McClanahan Street SW.
